‘Democracy’ is taken from Nick’s album ASYLUM EARTH, which came out last year. An anthem to the empowerment of mass protest, it features three stunning new mixes.
The Club Mix is an emotional slice of progressive house with anthemic pads and string melodies, a deep sub bass-line and a thumping kick, plus the chanting and drum beats sampled from political protests.
The remixes from Martin Sharp and Sound Out are simply outstanding. Martin’s remix is top-quality tech house, driven by massive drums beats that build to an electrifying synth-riff drop. Meanwhile Sound Out supplies an exceptional deep, dark, minimal tech remix.
